THE SANDPOINT SADDLE CLUB  is celebrating our 63rdh Anniversary.   We are the oldest horse club in the Northern Idaho and have contributed to our wonderful city’s colorful history.

Incorporated in 1945 as a non-profit organization, the Sandpoint Saddle Club has been an ever present group of people continually involved in various horse related events. Activities have included riding instruction, assisting with the building of the Sandpoint fairgrounds in the late 1960's, involvement with community parades and the annual horse show, which has not missed a year since its beginning on June 27, 1943.

BY-LAWS OF SANDPOINT SADDLE CLUB, INC.
ARTICLE I : Name
The name of this organization is Sandpoint Saddle Club, Inc.
The Sandpoint Saddle Club is incorporated as a non-profit organization under the laws of the state of Idaho.

ARTICLE II : Objectives
To develop and promote good fellowship among horse lovers.
To encourage, promote and develop the owning, training, and breeding of range and purebred horses.
To promote and develop a) good horsemanship, and b) knowledge and interest in the care, training, and breeding of good horses.
To a) cultivate the social life of members, and b) foster the welfare and enhance the health and happiness of members and other interested persons by promoting and encouraging the use of and interest in horses.
To interest and educate the public in the recreational possibilities and benefits of the use and ownership of horses.
To a) promote and cultivate association and friendly relationships with similar clubs throughout this county, state and elsewhere, and b) share information about such clubs.

We want to thank all of our friends and neighbors in North Idaho, Montana, Washington and Canada who have made our many annual horseshows such a pleasure to offer and participate in.
