Historyland Memorial Park is located in King George County along James Madison Parkway (Route 301) between the Rappahannock
and Potomac Rivers. It is convenient to the Northern Neck and is the only memorial park east of Fredericksburg to the Chesapeake
Bay. Historyland is recognized for its beauty and tranquility.
Historyland is under continuous local ownership since
1979. The staff has more than 30 years experience and is available to families to assure that their interests are addressed
promptly and compassionately.
Historyland’s veterans flag area with its flying flags is the location each year where
the valiant effort of local citizens to protect their country is recognized.
In addition to the cemetery, Historyland
Memorial Park is home to Virginia Monument Company and Faithful Friend Pet Cemetery. Faithful Friend Pet Cemetery provides
a final resting place for many families’ beloved pets and has a special site within the cemetery grounds to honor their lives.
Virginia Monument Company provides memorials to the families buried in the local church cemeteries.
Historyland Memorial
Park is licensed by the Cemetery Board of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Both its perpetual care and merchandise trust funds
are regularly approved by that agency.
