For six years PUMA has operated a Home for Children in Kathmandu Nepal. Managed by Mary Ellen Petini and Fran Czarnecki from the Philadelphia area, the Home continues to grow and flourish! Seven Nepali nationals work with Mary to staff the Home and take care of the kids. As of this date the Home offers year round care to 72 children! We're excited to see these young people growing up to be excited and determined, responsible adults. Many have aspirations of going to medical school and other various educational opportunities. If you'd like more info on the Home, or would like to sponsor a young boy or girl, just drop us a line and we'd be happy to answer any questions!
