Our Mission

PUMA (Pennsylvania United Medical Association) is a 501c-3 non-profit organization.

Our main area of work is in Nepal among the poorest of poor in remote villages.  Medical needs are provided through five full time Health Clinics which provide medical care for those who have little or none.  Health Awareness classes are held frequently by staff members from both the U.S. and Nepal.

We also donate equipment and medical supplies.  In the rural villages we distribute computers, school supplies, mosquito nets, in Nepal's Tauahun, Lamjung, Bardya and Gorkha Districts,  We also provide remote communities with health care through our mobile health clinics.

Company Profile

Since 2003, PUMA has been receiving products and goods donated to us from donors and agencies from all over the United States. We in turn ship these products to our sites in Nepal or offer these goods on to our ministry partners elsewhere in the world.

Right here in the United States we donated products to ministries in Philadelphia, Trenton, Harrisburg, Atlanta and Jacksonville, Florida.

Locally we work with several agencies in Philadelphia & Trenton serving the homeless and those in drug and alcohol recovery programs.

In total, Since 2003, Puma has distributed well over $1,000,000 worth of medicines, medical equipment, food, clothing, blankets, disaster and emergency relief items. Some of the countries we partnered in were Sudan, Ivory Coast, Myanmar, Trinidad, Romania, China, Kosovo, El Salvador, Philippines, Nepal, and Mexico.
