In the 1950's Cosmodyne responds to the US Marine Corps' requirement for mobile, air transportable lox plants for Aviator Breathing Oxygen in forward areas. The Model GB-1A, Cosmodyne's first air separation plant, was deployed with the USMC through Desert Storm - a 30+ year career of successful service.
