In the 1960's Cosmodyne expands into the design and
fabrication of cryogenic equipment for industry and in support of NASA's
Mercury and Apollo programs. Other non-cryogenic equipment requiring high
level engineering and precise manufacturing, such as diving bells,
reverse osmosis water purification systems, and the Stanford linear
accelerator are also created and supplied by Cosmodyne.
With its
headquarters and manufacturing facility in Torrance,
CA, Cosmodyne is conveniently located
south of Los Angeles and minutes from Los Angeles International Airport.
The site is comprised of 121,900 sq. feet of developed property situated
on over 13 acres with immediate access to the Long
Beach and Los
Angeles Harbors.
