Letter Campaign 2009

Dear Friends,

Family Service is a non-profit human service agency, providing emergency services to those individuals or families facing a crisis. We provide crisis intervention services to families living in the Warren, Washington and Northern Saratoga Area. Family Service is dedicated to helping our local families as they cope with situations beyond their resources- (financial and emotional.)

With your help, we are able to help families and their children like David who I received a referral from a local pediatric dentist. The young boy in her words had the most decayed teeth and infected gums that she has seen in her career as a dentist. His parents were unable to afford the needed dental care. According to David’s teachers he never smiles and displays outward anger. Family Service provided the needed care and David has now a renewed sense of self, he is happier and no longer avoids his fellow students.

With your support, we are able to help children like David. This is only one example of the services we provide. Working with a non-target population any one experiencing crisis can be helped. Last year we assisted close to six thousand individuals.
