Dr. Chase is a Diplomate of the American Board of Homeotherapeutics (1983). She was a preceptee to, and protegée of, the late distinguished homeopathic physician, Maesimund B. Panos, MD, DHt. She also attended the National Center for Homeopathy sponsored National Center for Instruction in Homeopathy and Homeotherapeutics summer postgraduate courses. 

Dr. Chase has been active in organizational homeopathy since 1975, having donated much of her time regionally, nationally, and internationally. In 1995, she was elected the first woman President (1995-1998) of the Liga Medicorum Homeopathica Internationalis (LMHI), the international homeopathic professional medical organization, established in Rotterdam in 1925. She has served as President of the American Institute of Homeopathy (AIH) (1997-2000), the oldest extant national medical association in the USA, established in 1844. She continues to serve on the AIH Board as a Trustee. Currently Secretary-Treasurer of the Southern Homeopathic Medical Association, and Past President and Director of Publications of the National Center for Homeopathy, from whom she received an award thanking her for her service in April 1985, she is also Secretary of the Homeopathic Medical Society of the State of Pennsylvania.
