WHAT DO CASKETS COST?

Chapel of Roses Funeral Home has a large display of caskets ranging in price from $1,095 to $8,795.

MUST I BUY THE CASKET AT THE FUNERAL HOME?

You are not obligated to purchase the casket from the funeral home, but most families prefer to purchase the casket and other merchandise items from the funeral home.  In the metro area there are a number of "casket stores" one can purchase selected funeral items, however, there are differences...being, they are NOT regulated by any government agencies and do not have the overhead that any funeral home will have and can therefore sell caskets at a low cost.  But, caskets stores are not availiabe to meet with a family's needs 24/7.  Also many 'store-type' caskets do not stand up to the "quality" of caskets most funeral homes prefer to offer their families.  Chapel of Roses Funeral Home can usually obtain the same or similar type caskets for you at a comparative price to a "store bought" casket.  Please browse the links below for more photos and information.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF A VAULT, AND HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?

Outer burial containers enclose the casket and support the weight of the earth.  Many are also designed to prevent natural elements from entering the casket.  You can select anything from a rough concrete graveline to a solid concrete vault.  Although no law requires that a burial vault be used, most cemeteries require some kind of outer enclosure.  We offer many selections, which meet any Cemetery's requirements.  Please browse the link below for additional information.
