Ministries
Church School meets during the 10:15 Service.  The curriculum is based upon Bible stories and a variety of other materials and revolve around age-appropriate discussions and activities that tie in with the lessons.
Adult Education courses are offered on scheduled Sunday evenings during the year.  Classes are discussion oriented and focus on contemporary issues, current theological trends, and spiritual journeys.  All courses are open to the community.
Activites include parish and community dinners, an annual Craft Fair, various family activities such as bowling, picnics, Christmas caroling, and field trips.

Services

The Episcopal service uses a liturgy, or standard order of worship. We print the service for each Sunday in easy to follow booklets, which help to make our worship “user-friendly”. These liturgies are used by Episcopalians world-wide, fostering a sense of community and continuity across distance and time. We celebrate Holy Communion at every service. EVERYONE is welcome in our church home, and encouraged to come to the altar rail to receive the Wine and/or Bread of Communion, or for a blessing, if they prefer.

The Sunday Schedule

The 8:00 service uses an order of worship in which there is no music. The quiet of the old stone church contributes to the creation of a meditative and peaceful experience.

At 10:15, a family friendly service, follows an order of worship which includes music, with the choir, organist, and congregation contributing a “joyful sound.”  Church School meets at this time, a nursery is provided during the service, and coffee hour follows in St. Joseph’s Hall.  (Both services include a homily, preached by the Vicar or a guest preacher).

Leadership
The Vestry is an eight member elected body within the congregation that leads the parish, along with the clergy, by: - helping to discern the vision toward which God is drawing this Church; - articulating and communicating that vision; - keeping the mission of the Church clearly before the parish.
St. Mary's Guild serves both the church and community by generously giving of its resources that are raised through fundraising activities and the Guild's endowment.
Outreach to the community in a wide variety of ways is the cornerstone of our life and ministry.
