Our church was formerly Grandview Wesleyan Church. Over the years the church had dwindled and was in danger of closing
forever.
With each challenge we have encountered, we became stronger in our faith.
In July of 2007 negotiations began with the Wesleyan Church Headquarters for Indiana South to save the congregation.
It was decided at that time to bring on Pastor Eric & Mary Hickman and to rename the church to Community Wesleyan Church.
The new church officially opened for worship on August 5, 2007.
The Hickmans brought with them multimedia technology to enhance worship and give the little church a big church
feel.
