Music at New Hope has always been an important and integral part of our ministry. We enjoy lifting our voices up to honor and glorify our Lord, Jesus Christ. We offer a blended style of worship, using traditional, gospel, and contemporary music in our services. Our Sanctuary Choir, New Hope Singers, sing weekly at our 11:00 a.m. services. Special music, as well as drama, is prepared for the Christmas and Easter seasons. Regular rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. The first Wednesday of every month our choir ministers to the residents on the 3rd floor at Richfield Nursing Facility at 7:00 p.m. This year marks our 40th year in this music ministry! Choir practice follows at 7:45 p.m.
Our Children and Youth choirs meet from September-May on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:00. Music theory, vocal technique, and songs of praise are taught. We also enjoy ringing the chimes.

Children's Choir:

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!

Presented by our children, youth, and adults of our church this past Christmas on December 21, 2008.  The play is based on the book written by Barbara Robinson in 1921.  It focuses on the poorly behaved children of the Herdman family who discovers the true meaning of Christmas through participation in a church play about the birth of Jesus.  Under the drama direction of Nicole Long and music direction of Donna Boles, the cast and members alike will have long lasting memories of the the true reason for the season - Jesus Christ.

A DVD was made of the play and if anyone is interested in having a copy, please notify Donna Boles.
