v Dawn Morgan, Healing for her left hand (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome). Dawn had surgery this past week in Winston-Salem.
v Mary Russow She is into her sixth week of a broken sacral fracture and her doctor says that her bones are
too soft and damaged from the osteoporosis to do any surgery at this time. She
is receiving weekly infusions to build bone structure. Pray this will be successful.
v Robert Woolwine-Prayers for his eyesight and health. Friday, Oct 23rd, Robert
had medicine injected into his eyes. If this does not work there is nothing more
they can do. We need to pray that this medicine will restore his eye sight.
v H.L. Stanley It was skin cancer but all surrounding areas were cancer free according
to the path. report. Check it again in 6 months.
v Prayers for Ann Lewis, daughter-in-law of Carol Lewis. Ann is
4 months pregnant, and was diagnosed with H1N1. Pray for the safety of this child!
v Sue Johnson, as she recovers from some painful foot surgery. (Update: She is doing much better!) Praises that
Ben had some testing done this week on his esophagus, and the results were good!
v Shelby Hill recovering from eye surgery.
v Shirley Ferguson (a friend of Rita Collins).
She needs to make decisions about her breast cancer.
v Prayers for Collier and Betsy Harvey (former interim pastor at New Hope). Pray for them as they continue to
go through the long process of rehab from the car accident.
v Edna Lambert-arthritis in lower back and broken right arm.
v David Fischer (Doris Fischer’s son) Praise that his chemo treatments are going extremely well.
v Doris Dowdy, Continuing recovery from hernia surgery.
v Jackie Underwood, Joan Britt’s best friend since they were 9 years old, just diagnosed with breast cancer. This just as she was declared free of cervical cancer last year.
v Iris Hunt-(Joan Britt’s mother)-at Richfield, please continue to keep in your prayers.
v Ellen Ward’s mother, Eileen McKean (Under hospice care at Warmhearth). Please pray for her and the family.
v Louise & Dave Brewer-(Mary Loritsch’s mother & father).
v Allie Jamison, 3 year old neighbor of Mark & Nancy Oldham. Crooked
spine and tumor. Had surgery on 09/21/09
at UVa.
v Patty Woodward Strength and healing for her right hand.
v Paul Schuler- Praise: No cancer.
Returns to the doctor in January.
v Mary Bryan DeBerry (Bettye & Ed DeBerry’s daughter-in-law) for her cousin, O'Brion.
v Seth Williams (Woody Woodlief’s grandson) needs a heart valve replacement. Pray for wisdom. Also, his cousin, Elizabeth Miller
is now in rehab trying to regain strength for continued chemo treatments.
v Rev. Woody Fisher (Shannon Smith’s father)- is looking for a church to serve.
v Dr. Wayne Gandee (friend of Carol Lewis) diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer.
v Professor Daniel Murphy (friend of Ben & Sue Johnson)

v William Allen- Doloris Vest son, as he is away in the military.
