Stefan had as good a time as he could have had at his 11th birthday. It was just 2 weeks post-surgery, and he could barely
sit for 5 minutes, was sound sensitive, light sensitive, touch sensitive and just plain ill, but he was determined to go to
Chuck-E-Cheese for his birthday. I was hesitant at best, but with the help of Susan Jenson (Mgr), Carla, and the staff we
all pulled it off. Although he wasn't able to play the games and did become ill while trying to sit up, he had a memorable
time. His friends played the games for him and collected all their tickets and gave them to him. Susan refused our payment
for the party, bringing tears to everyone's eyes, and they covered the whole party. Carla presented Stefan with the giant
stuffed Chuckie which now hangs in his room. Stefan also received a special card from Eddie Jenson, age 10, who we hope to
meet some day. Our Chuck-E-Cheese made a birthday party for a very ill little boy the highlight of his month. Thank you!
