Pray from your heart, something like this."Father, I wish to turn my life over to you. Please forgive me for my sins, I ask Jesus to come into my heart, AMEN".

There are churches that teach that Jesus is a way-shower. They also say Jesus was divine and then add that "all men are divine for all men are sons of God". To be a son of God, you would have to be a child of God. The problem with this teaching is that it is error. Jesus taught that he was The Way, rather than the way-shower. Jesus says in John 14:6 "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". In other words, Jesus does not show the way to the Father, he is the way to the Father and the only way. The second error is that all men are the sons of God. It is true that all men are Gods creation, but John 1:12 says "Yet to all who received him, to those that believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God". Again in Ephesians 1:5, until one believes in the name of Jesus, they are not children of God. We are adopted sons of God. The Bible is very clear about the identity of Jesus, he is the only true Son of God. Read the scripture verses below under "Who is Jesus" and the scriptures in the left column.
