There has been many who have come
to lead us in their way
And have left their mark
on the world of today
But none have claimed to be God
as Jesus has done
As he brought forgiveness for sins
and over death he has won
He did it for all of us
That, we cannot deny
But why he did this
prompts the question why?
He said what he did
Came at great cost
But he loves this world
And desires that none be lost
So don’t be one of those
that will be left behind
Embrace the Lord Jesus
And claim peace of mind
