Homebuilt Recumbent Trike - Bolted Construction

Welcome graphic

This is a recumbent trike I designed and built myself. My goals in this design were to build a sturdy, reliable vehicle that I could build myself with the tools and techniques that I am comfortable with. None of the parts required a machine shop, and all of the 'bicycle' components are parts that are available in just about any bicycle shop.  I made all of the parts with just a table saw, band saw, and drill press.  The main frame material is 2 x 1 x .130 Aluminum Association 6061-T6 channel.  I entered the design in a design contest, and it won an Honorable Mention.  A link to this entry can be found here
