"It was around the Person of a living Christ that God's people were gathered in the first century and around whom they should all gather today. It is not around a doctrine, however true; or around an ordinance, however important; or around a wonderful preacher, however godly; but around a living, divine Person that the church is to gather. It is not said 'To which coming,' but 'To whom coming.' (1 Pet. 2:4) We do not come to a thing, to an organization, or to a human leader, but to a divine Person - our Lord and Savior."

(R. K. Campbell)

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal." (John 3:16, DBY trans.)

Who are we?

We are a group of Christian believers who gather unto the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, God the Father’s beloved and eternal Son. Each week we enjoy (by faith) Christ’s promised presence in our midst, for “where two or three are gathered unto my name, there am I in the mist of them.” (Mt. 18:20)

With the risen Lord in our midst, we seek to honor His request, “this do in remembrance of me,” by breaking bread together. (Mt. 26:26-29; Mk. 14:22-25; Lk. 22:14-20; 1 Cor. 11:23-26) We believe the Lord’s Supper is the chief meeting of the church. (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 11:20-28)

Each week, as we own His promised presence and seek to honor His dying request, we consider it a joy and privilege to remember the greatest Person and the greatest work (His sacrificial death on the cross) to ever mark the course of human history.

Location

We are currently looking to the Lord to provide a central meeting location, but until then, we have been meeting in various homes in the Wylie / Garland area of Texas. Don’t let the fact that we meet in homes discourage you from coming out to visit us, after all, the early church met in homes! (Acts 2:46; Philemon 1:2)

KingdomTruth.us

The Gospels, together with the ministries of Apostles Paul, Peter, John, and John the Baptizer - are replete with statements like, "The Kingdom of God" or "The Kingdom of the Heaven". In fact, this was the single most important message of the Lord Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry. Does it have any meaning for a Christian today? KingdomTruth.us website has a lot of articles and books on the subject.

BodyandTruth.org

This site has been designed to address the subject of Christ’s church and to address various issues related to Christian higher education and learning. It also provides believers with material to edify and challenge them in their Christian walk.

EbedMelech.org

Apostle Paul says, "For I am not ashamed of the glad tidings; for it is God’s power to salvation, to every one that believes, both to Jew first and to Greek." (Romans 1:16). EbedMelech.org seeks to reach out to our Jewish friends and neighbours both here in the United States, as well as around the world, with the Good News of the Mashiach Yeshua. "And salvation is in none other, for neither is there another name under heaven which is given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)

Excellencies of the Son

1. God having spoken in many parts and in many ways formerly to the fathers in the prophets,

2. at the end of these days has spoken to us in [the person of the] Son, whom he has established heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3. who being [the] effulgence of his glory and [the] expression of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, having made [by himself] the purification of sins, set himself down on the right hand of the greatness on high,

4. taking a place by so much better than the angels, as he inherits a name more excellent than they.

(Hebrews 1:1-4, DBY trans.)
