Christian and Nicholas Price and their families emigrated from Germany in 1831.  Many in their part - including Nicholas' family - were aboard a brig that ran aground in a storm off Cape Henry, Va.  The immigrate families eventually made their way to Jenera in Hancock Count, Ohio, where they settled and established St. Paul's Lutheran Church.  To this day, the church celebrate's the immigrant's salvation from the shipwreck.
