Has it Been 10 Days Already?
Time sure flies. I've had little time to work on the website with everything else that goes on around here.
Melanie got two goldfish about a week ago -- and they are still alive! Actually, she informs me that it's been
about 2 weeks. I think that's some kind of record for us. Usually goldfish last about 48 hours around here.
Their names are Frankie and Maribel. Frankie had little black tips on his fins and is smaller, while Maribel is larger
and all orange.
Kevin continues to drive more and more, after dark and in the rain too. He's yet to drive on the interstate (81),
and that suits me just fine. It's not him that concerns me, it's all of those other nuts out there!
Larry has sleep apnea. He's been fitted for a mask to wear at night, hooked up to a little machine that pumps pressurized
air. He does fine with it when he first gets in bed. However, when I get up to go to the bathroom between 2:00
and 3:00, the mask and machine are both off. Oh well. He got fitted with a different mask yesterday, and I was
hoping that one would stay on longer, but, there was no difference last night. That one came off too.
I'm still busy with volunteering at the middle school, in sixth grade remedial math. I spend a good bit of
time on the computer as well. I have been surfing for good sites for the sixth graders to visit to practice their math
skills, among other things. I'm getting used to the new Dell computer more and more, but still come back to this HP.
It's just more comfortable for this "old lady." And the rest of my day is spent hanging out with Shiloh and, of course,
giving lots of belly rubs!
We've had a lot of WIND here lately. Hope wherever you are, that you haven't gotten blown around too much!
Blessings...

Finally...
I have our old HP hard wired to a modem router and our new Dell desktop wireless with a USB adapter. YEA!
It only took 2 1/2 weeks and countless hours on the phone to get it all sorted out. Grandma (Jennifer's mom) left this
morning and we were sorry to see her go. The kids always enjoy beating her at Parcheesi and Labyrinth. And, of
course, Shiloh misses the extra attention. Grandma brought her a hard rubber fire plug for Easter, and I'm sure a picture
of it will end up here on the website.
The kids have been on Spring break this week, but Kevin's baseball practices and games have continued, which is one
reason Grandma came (to see him play). Tuesday evening they lost, but last evening they won 8-3. Tuesday we were
enjoying warm temperatures up in the 70's, and took light jackets for the chill that came on later in the evening. Last
evening, though, we huddled up in our winter coats, under blankets, drank hot chocolate, and even saw a few snow flurries
from time to time. Crazy weather!
Speaking of Kevin -- he got his learner's permit today, and when we got back to our neighborhood, he drove all around.
He was really pleased that he passed his test with a perfect score. I'm not worried a bit about him being out there
on the road, as far as his driving skills are concerned. I know he will be a safe, cautious and courteous driver.
But look out three years from now when that Melanie gets behind the wheel -- vrooom --- everybody out of the way!
Wishing you a blessed and peaceful Easter.

Photography is more than a hobby for me. It's a passion, the way I capture and celebrate life. In this album, I've assembled
some of my favorite family photographs (along with some others). Hope you enjoy them.
When I'm not bugging the family with the camera, I 'm usually out finding myself enthralled by the beauty of God's creation.
Here are a few of my favorites. All of the pictures of flowers I took on this page are from my Aunt Jean's garden in
Pennsylvania.
