- NOTE
- Many sites on other pages are personal sites, but they
have special themes that I can list under a special category.
These sites are personal, and not about a special subject.
- Duke of Earl
- Here is a site that has many interesting pages and it is
laid out nicely. Wander around his site and see how much
you'll like. Unfortunately, December 2002 is the last edition
for now (the Duke says someone else will take over), but the
site will stay up, and the archives are there from Oct 1996
till the end. So it is still good to check out. Go directly
to the archives at
Duke of
Earl Club.
- Hints and
Things
- Hints and Things has an interesting layout,
and many interesting and different tips, and
links. The layout is based on the rooms of a house, with tips
and links somewhat related to those rooms. Thus, it is
another good site to wander around in and learn something.
- Sugarz.com
-
This site is neatly laid out with really cool images and some
interesting writing. You can't really tell what a page on his
site will be just by it's title. Seems you have to visit them
all to find out what's on it.
- Some of the sections on this site don't interest me,
but the part that does is listed under The Idea
Barn. The main area is A Hundred Ways to Convince
Yourself Life is Better . But also check out all the
other topics in The Idea Barn .
- Software
Rules
- Val Hubbard has provided us with a great
set of rules. There are software rules, hardware rules,
internet rules, and be careful now, political rules. Pretty
great set. In case you haven't guessed, they are humorous
because of their closeness to reality. Actually, Val
Hubbard's site is not around anymore, but this page is the
same stuff.
-
How Much Is Inside?
- The folks at Cockeyed.com have decided to measure all
kinds of fun things to determine how much you get. They do it
with fun and photos. Fun place to visit and read some of
them. I guess you get the idea that I think this was
'fun'.
- Wayne's CyberPlace
- Wayne's site, among other topics, has
inspirational quotes and sayings, some good links, and some
humor, as the areas that I enjoyed. It's nicely laid out and
planned for a personal site.
- Melissa Bianco
- Melissa's site is interesting to peruse. She's got some
good quotes and links, among amusing talk.
- Walker 2000
- Fred Walker has some list of links. Would you believe
over 3300 links to U.S. newspapers, classified by state; or
take your pick: 250 conservative sites or 250 liberal sites.
There aren't lists of sites for entertainment or music, but
for a more serious vein.
- Kate's Ramblings
and Wanderings
- This is a blog site. But Kate can cover anything:
software, web sites, politics, recipes, anything.
So, I guess you can say there is something here for most
people. I'm always finding things of interest.
- Reinhard's
Homepage
- Reinhard has a nice group of interesting
links to sites and to download freeware that apparently
reflects his interests. There is also a section filled with
jokes.
