The model 9511 Dual Spout Water Tower was added to the product line based upon a customer request
for a water tower with a spout on the backside of the tower. This structure is based upon our highly popular model 9310 Single
Spout water tower described above. This new water tower allows one to service locomotives on a mainline and a service track
at the same time, similar to the water tower found at Chama, New Mexico, by placing the water tower between two tracks or
near the frog of a turnout. This is not a reproduction of the actual prototype water tower owned by the then D&RGW (now
the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad). However, it is very unique and becomes an attention getter on any railroad!
The dual spout water tower requires a space that is 7 3/4" wide by 6 1/2" deep. The overall
height measures 13 3/4" tall. The tank is 5 1/2" tall to the base of the solid roof, and is 5 3/4" in diameter. We recommend
that the front and back of the base be placed about 5" from the centerline of each track. The weight of the structure is about
six pounds. The tank and pumphouse can be obtained in our standard colors (link to Color Selection), or they can be obtained as raw redwood.
