The 9807 Diesel Fuel Tank Platform converts your Bachmann tank car into a raised fuel tank for servicing diesel locomotives. It also uses a pumphouse, seen in the center of the platform, that has been brought forward on the structure so that it can be used to simulate the pumping of diesel fuel from a parked tank car; up to the storage tank on the platform using the retractable hose on the right. Using the retractable hose on the left, one can then simulate the filling of diesel locomotives from that raised storage tank! Once again, you have an unique structure not found on many garden railroads today.

   With all of the tank platforms, the metal work is of brass and the wood is redwood. They can be obtained in our standard colors (link to Color Selection), or they can be obtained as raw redwood. Pumphouse roofs can be either cedar shingles, tarpaper or metal.
