The model 9902 Watchman’s Crossing Gate Shanty is an unique little structure that measures about 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches by 6 1/2 inches high. It was originally designed to be used near depots where roads would cross the railroad. But our customers have found many more uses for it, since it can be used as a small office to any type of industry business. Some have used it as a small cottage or shelter on logging railroads. Others have used it to hide and shelter electronic components and speakers when adding sound to their layout. Any place you need a nicely detailed little structure; this seems to be the one.

   The model 9902 is built just like any of our other high quality structures. It features a handbuilt door and windows, along with a brass smokejack. The board and batten sides are all made of redwood and it rests on a PVC base. The roof can be obtained with either cedar shingles, tarpaper or metal. You can get it double stained in our current variety of colors, or receive it in a raw finish ready for you to mask and paint to your desired color.
