The 1:20.3 scale 9828 Oil Tank Platform converts your AccuCraft tank car into a raised oil fueling facility for those who have converted their steam locomotives over to burn oil. The forward pumphouse again can be used to simulate the filling of the storage tank from a parked tank car, using the retractable hose on the right, while the overhead delivery boom is used to reach the tender deck of many types of steam locomotives!  This is similar to our 9808 Oil Tank Platform designed for those in 1:22.5 or 1:24 scale.

   With all of the tank platforms, the metal work is of brass and the wood is redwood. They can be obtained in our standard colors (link to Color Selection), or they can be obtained as raw redwood. Pumphouse roofs can be either cedar shingles, tarpaper or metal.
