American Legion Post 725
American Legion Post 725 was chartered in 1977 and it has been
serving the Hesperia area and the High Desert ever since.
The Post meets regularly and supports Veteran Rehabilitation
Programs at Loma Linda VA Hospital and at the Victorville VA Clinic.
We also are called upon to help families of deployed veterans when
they need something done. We help veterans no matter if they are
members or not.
Membership Requirements
To join the American Legion, you must have served in the Armed Forces of the United States during one of the following periods:
April 6, 1917 to November 11, 1918
(World War I)
December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946 (World War II)
June 25, 1950 to January 31, 1955 (Korean War)
February 28, 1961 to May 7, 1975 (Vietnam War)
August 24, 1982 to July 31, 1984 (Lebanon/Grenada)
December 20, 1989 to January 31, 1990 (Panama)
August 2, 1990 to today (Gulf War/War On Terrorism
Meetings
American Legion Post 725 meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. We meet at the VFW Post 2924 on Hesperia Road, between Main Street in Hesperia, and Bear Valley Road, Victorville.

Dennis
works activities for the Post and schedules Honor Guard events. He
recently visited an Army training base to see how recruits are
trained.
Steve
is a long time member of the Post and he held the position of
Commander from 2002 - 2008. He works along side the Commander and
1st Vice Commander for membership and writes the Post newsletter and
website.
Gordon formerly held the position of 1st Vice Commander.
