First

First United Methodist Church is the oldest established church in the area. Formed in 1850 as a member of the Baltimore Conference in the New Creek Circuit of Hampshire County.

First continues to serve the community after more than 155 years.

The “After School Program” teaches third graders through the use of computers and volunteer tutors.

Adult fellowships, Sunday School Classes and a new youth group are also evidence of a spirit of service and learning.
