Gold

When working in gold, I choose from three different grades of yellow gold, 14k, 18k and 22k. For strength and economy 14k is most suitable. 18k gold has a richer color and is slightly more pliable. For the most intricate fine woven chains, 22k gold is my choice, because it is more malleable, and since it is almost 92% gold, the color is intense.
