To the citizens of Melrose:

My family and I want to congratulate all of the candidates for School Committee. It was an honor and privilege to take part in a campaign with individuals who care so much about our schools. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the voters, to my supporters, and to all who work so hard on behalf of our wonderful city, with a special thanks to the Elections Administrator, Ms. Linda-Lee Angiolillo who was helpful at every step. I promise that I will work to represent the viewpoints and concerns of all constituents. I hope that I can help draw back into the process all those stakeholders who are no longer participating in their government, so that our next election will have voters flocking to the polls. As one of seven who will serve on the School Committee in January, I hope to learn much from the collective wisdom of the past and present incumbents, and most especially the citizens whom I promise to listen to throughout my term. Establishing an effective open dialogue will not only address the needs of the Melrose voters but will ultimately benefit our students. I am deeply humbled and honored, and I hope to earn the trust voters have placed in me, Mr. LaRock, and Ms. Casatelli.
