Welcome!

This is the online home of Castlewood Fire & Rescue. An all volunteer department that provides fire and medical responses in the Castlewood/St. Paul, VA area of Russell and Wise Counties. We are an ISO Rated department with a rating of 7 for our fire services. We are in the process of building this web page so check back in time to time.

Becoming a Member

You may become a member of our department by dropping by our main station at 103 Donnie Dean Drive next to Castlewood Funeral Home and filling out an application that will be voted on by our membership. Anyone 16 years or older may apply for membership to our department.

We are currently accepting applications for membership, we are in need of dedicated people who are willing to volunteer their time to help their neighbors in the community. Anyone who is interested in becoming a member no matter if you have any training or not please apply by contacting our station at 762-0242 or clicking on the email link below. We will provide for your training to become certified.
