Engine Hoist

Inflatable Wheels
I need to be able to move my hoist to a back yard shed, over a mulch covered path.  The steel wheels would dig in so I added 2 10" tires.

Wheel assemblies installed on back of hoist.  The lower, smaller bar, is slightly offset to limit rotation of the assembly so the wheels pivot no farther than vertical when the hoist is tipped on to them.

Towing Tongue
Pulling the  hoist uphill is a chore, so I made a towing tongue for my tractor.

Hoist attached to tractor, ready to roll.

These are the axle assemblies (shown upside down for some reason).  The right angle end holds the wheel, while at the other end the large bar slips in a hole and the small bar goes under the leg.
