Recycling Program
The Workforce Readiness Program at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center has established a drop-off recycling program. Glenn Willis and Gayla Thompson are working with the WRP students to collect, bale and market recyclable materials. The program has a vertical downstroke baler for baling aluminum cans, cardboard and newspaper. The bales are sold to processors where they are used to make new cardboard.
The CCCTC Recycling Program will collect office paper, newspaper, cardboard, and aluminum cans. The collection site will be open from 8:00 am to 10:45 am on the third Thursday of each month from September through May. The dates for 2008-2009 are:
