DO YOU HAVE OLD TIRES TO RECYCLE?
Why not bring them to the CCH Solid Waste District's Scrap Tire Collection Event!
The following collection events are planned:
Cadiz:
Saturday, April 18, 2009, 9 am to 1 pm at the Harrison County Highway Garage, off SR 9
Carrollton:
Saturday, May 2, 2009, 9 am to 1 pm at D&D TV and Appliance, 618 Canton Road
Salem:
Saturday, May 16, 2009, 9 am to 1 pm - Solomon Scrap and Salvage on SR 14 East of Salem.
**No early birds - collections do not start until 9:00 am.**
The cost will be as follows:
Passenger car and light truck tires: The first four tires per vehicle are free for District residents, $0.50 per tire for the next five to 10 tires and $2.00 per tire thereafter
Truck tires: $5.00 per tire
Tractor tires: $10.00 per tire
CASH ONLY
All tires MUST be be free of water and debris. Tires on rims are acceptable.
Ohio regulations allow an individual to haul up to 10 tires without a license.
District residents only. No tires from businesses will be accepted.
