The diploma on the left certainly LOOKS like it was awarded to Henri M. Wilson...
The name of the recipient of the diploma on the right is illegible, but it certainly LOOKS like a degree in Physics...
Let's look at the diploma on the left in more detail.
Now, it is extremely interesting how extremely contrasty the name "Henri M. Wilson" is compared with the rest of the lettering.
Also, look at the area around the name. Something looks weird about it...
No doubt about it. The photo was crudely "doctored".
An Alternate Interpretation?Several people have suggested that perhaps the diploma is Henri's real diploma, but that the above edits were merely to change the name on the diploma from his real name to to his newsgroup handle. Henri has claimed in multiple posts that "Henri Wilson" is his real name. Below I quote a typical instance where he has done so.
