Anne Cronin Tyson: is a Spiritual Director in private practice in Michigan and Texas. She trained in the Spiritual Direction Preparation Program at the Franciscan Spirituality Center in La
Crosse, Wisconsin. Anne earned a BA in Pastoral Ministry from St. Scholastica
College, Duluth, Minnesota and a MA in Pastoral Ministry from St. John’s University, Collegeville, Minnesota. She served for 10 years as a Pastoral Associate on a parish staff in the Diocese of Marquette. She has received advanced training in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing, has facilitated grief support
and survivor support groups, and is active in suicide prevention at local, state, and national levels. Anne is Co-Founder of the Dandelion Project: A Women’s
Wellness Outreach. She is a member of Spiritual Directors International, The
Wellness Institute of America, National Association of Death Education & Counseling, The National Association of Lay Ministers,
The American Association of Suicidology, Suicide Prevention Action Network, The International Association of Suicide Prevention,
and The Association of Christian Therapists.
Anne’s son, Ted, died of suicide in 1994, her husband’s uncle in 1975, and her niece
in 2005.
C. Karen Covey Moore has served as a United Methodist minister for over twenty
years. She received her M. Div and D. Min degrees from Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, D. C and her MS in Pastoral
Care and Spiritual Direction, Neumann College in Aston, PA. She is currently
appointed to Chabereth Ministries, Inc. as Founder and Spiritual Director and serves as the Chairperson, Conference Spiritual
Formation Team for the Peninsula-Delaware Annual Conference. She also facilitates GriefShare Support Groups and a Survivors
of Suicide Support Group.
Karen is a member of the Wilmington Bereavement Professionals, Suicide Prevention Action Network,
The American Association of Suicidology, International Assoication for Suicide Prevention, the Board of Directors of the Fellowship
of United Methodist Spiritual Directors and Retreat Leaders, and Spiritual Directors International, and The Association of
Christian Therapists.
Karen’s mother died of suicide 1951, and her son, Charles, died of suicide 2001
