Charlie Declares Himself Multicultural!

On his site, Joe of baseballparks.com declares himself to be “multicultural” -- and shows a photo of himself and his family at a football game to prove it. Here, I outline the extent of my multiculturalism as it pertains to professional and college sporting events.

I’ve also attended events at quite a few high school fields and gyms, particularly in Bergen County, N.J., where I live. I was the sports department for Leader Newspapers (Lyndhurst) from 1987-96.

Please note that in cases where a venue had a “real” name and then assumed a corporate name, I’ve listed the “real” name. I’m a traditionalist! Otherwise, the name of the venue when I attended the event is given. For colleges, the name of the school when I last attended an event there is given. The number in parentheses is the number of venues in the category at which I’ve seen an event.
