Walking up to Community Field, Jul-2001.

Community Field is a serviceable old place. There aren’t many stadium seats here, nor are there many other amenities that characterize the newer parks. But that’s OK. The place works.
I’m partial to some of the facilities that have sheltered areas from which to watch games, but that wasn’t an issue on a clear Saturday evening. This is a nice, pleasant place to watch a ball game.
