Quick Facts:
- Location: Coe Place off South Main Street, Torrington, Conn.
- Opened: Before 1950 (renovated 1997)
- Home team: Torrington Braves, Colonial League (1950)
- Capacity: 2,500 (2005 est.)
Fuessenich Park was the home of professional baseball for less than a season. The Torrington Braves joined the Class B Colonial League for its fourth season, 1950, but the league disbanded 16-Jul, with the Braves in fourth place, a game over .500.
The facility has been extensively renovated in recent years, and it now hosts the Torrington Twisters of the New England Collegiate Baseball League, a summer wood-bat league.
I was not able to get into Fuessenich Park on my 2005 visit.
