Quick Facts:
This small park was excavated between 1988 and 1990, and it opened for use in 1991. It is primarily used for high school and American Legion baseball, although Ohio University-Lancaster, across the street, also utilizes it as their home field. When I saw it, an American Legion 16-and-under regional tournament was under way.

Beavers Field isn’t named for a beaver, or a beaver mascot. It’s named for long-time Lancaster baseball coach and supporter Al Beaver.
