Quick Facts:
Since its construction in 1993, the Peoria Sports Complex, about 15 miles northwest of downtown Phoenix, has seen plenty of action, most of it in the spring. Two Major League teams use it in March; in addition, one of the Japanese professional teams used it for several seasons, as did a Korean league team. In addition, the Arizona Fall League, a loop for prospective Major Leaguers that starts during the weekend in which Major League Baseball wraps up its regular season, utilizes the field in October and November.

Site visitor Bob Flynn advises that the Phoenix Firebirds, whose home field was Scottsdale Stadium, used the Peoria ball field on fireworks nights thanks to a noise restriction in Scottsdale.

I got here on a morning when no game was taking place; however, Easter festivities were getting started.
