My main experience with the state of Wyoming is Yellowstone National Park. I only spent about 9 hours there, but you could just as easily spend 9 weeks. From the encounters with bison on the side of the park road, to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River, to the thermals and geysers, it’s spectacular. No wonder it was our first national park. Now if Old Faithful would only become more faithful again! If you’re impatient, try Echinus Geyser, in the Norris Geyser Basin about 15 miles north of Old Faithful.
