About our Leaders

Mike and Beth Silvia run the Youth and Family Ministry at Christ Church. They have been involved in young life ministries in the church for the past 10 years and are excited about their work here at Christ Church. They can often be found playing music and leading workshops at the Episcopal Conference Center as well as Happening, the youth retreat run by the Episcopal Diocese of RI.

Mike and I and the family at Christ Church welcome you to the Christ Church Youth Group where our mission is to provide a safe, fun environment for teens of this parish and the community to get together for fantastic, wholesome good times.  Whether we are baking cookies for "Drive by Prayers", creating a plaster mold of our faces, playing computerized trivia games or banging on drums, we will create memories, friendships and community that will last a lifetime. We strive for our teens to experience first hand the support and love of a community of their peers founded in the principals of Christianity.  We believe teens and young people are the future of the church and wish to bring them a Christian experience that they can relate to. Keep your eyes open for our crazy family nights where the whole darn family is invited to join us as we share a meal, play nutty games, go on scavenger hunts, or play music together. If you are in grades 6 through 12, you are welcome and we hope to see you there!!!
