Coming soon... the history of WLIX-AM

Once we get things rolling, we will post a nice history of the radio station WLIX here... how it came to be, the changes thru the 16 years it was on the air... also some milestones and some important events that happened in those years. On the whole, Chris will be taking care of this page, as he is the radio history buff (nerd, geek, aircheck tape collector, sweetheart husband of mine). This page will probably be more an objective history, a who/what/when kind of thing. People will be able to check out the "memories and memorabilia" page for the more personalized stories and experiences.

This may be one aspect of WLIX history, like the radio industry and the equipment changes, the studio locations, whatever.

We are learning as we go along. And as we have been reminded so many times during this project, it will all work out in the Lord's plan when the time comes (uncanny), so I won't put any specifics here for Chris to fit into.

More room for another aspect of WLIX-AM history. Maybe a look back at the music industry and how people's views on Christian music has changed, and how that affected WLIX.
