Humans are not trained to suspend disbelief; we are trained to apply logic, critical thinking, past experience of ourselves and others to solve problems. This problem-solving mentality has us trapped in a recursive loop of hopelessness and powerlessness. The problem-solving mentality limits potential outcomes. I feel this is just the tip of this issue and over the next days, more of the issue will emerge but it will only emerge if we ask the questions.
The last few days I've been focusing on integrity, seeing its many nuances in a world where the "illusion of integrity" is breaking down. We have monolithic beurocracies in this nation, essentially a huge ring of parasites around what we call the Beltway. The Beltway physically surrounds Washington, DC but it's also a mental construct. The Beltway mentality is an obvious illusion of integrity. Nobody ever really says anything when they speak the language of the Beltway. In this mentality nobody is responsible for anything. The Beltway extends throughout the country in one form or another, only leaving remote areas untouched.
The majority of Americans seem unaware that the Beltway mentality is a mental construct of parasitic behavior. Each parasite gains honor, recognition, money, and security from the "host." The parasitic behavior is accomplished through coencentric rings around the Beltway, each parasite leaching onto one of the other parasites, waiting anxiously for one of the level 1 parasites to move aside so they can jump in quickly and fill the void left in the closest ring. In subsequent rings, this is also happening. In order to remain firmly implanted in any one of the rings, one must embrace the "illusion of integrity." My feeling, when projecting my mind into their position, is that the parasites actually believe they are of great service to the nation. As Shakespeare would say, "aye, there's the rub!"
Integrity is a big issue, as we know, because it is the primary issue of yang (the male, contracting energy). I had an experience with the Dean of the College of Math at the an American university recently. When I contacted him with concerns about how the teacher was failing to teach a class he said he would look into it and added, "you have my word on that." Hmm....remember when a man's word was valuable? When I read those words, I thought, "wow, integrity!" I trusted that he would do what he said he was going to do. Being unable to actually see his actions, that trust was based upon his words. Just as I have trusted many people based upon their words, I was yet to discover that the Beltway mentality is firmly ingrained into his mental constructs.
I feel that its important to realize how scarce integrity really is. How many are really willing to gauge our own integrity? The newly-emerging Goddess energy is showing integrity to the Yang now. How is that possible? I don't know. I can't explain why I feel that way; maybe it's too new to actually describe. Integrity is tested when ones feet are held to the fire. What I wonder though, is if other people recognize when someone's feet are being held to the fire? The mentality of non-integrity is so ingrained in this society that I'm not sure people even recognize integrity anymore when we do see it.
We ignore our telepathy and psychic abilities for the most part; we ignore our intuition, we are molded into something that resembles animals as little as possible. We are taught the "hard sciences" over the arts. We are taught to listen to authority and not to be creative. We live in societies where the "playing field" is constantly leveled at mid range ("don't fall behind and don't excel"). Burocracies are designed to frustrate the masses into giving up and becoming compliant. Integrity becomes only a word on a Pledge on the wall of the Human Resources Department meant to comply with law that does not encourage integrity but requires it anyway.
The picture is very clear, and like I said earlier, I spend a lot of time wondering why people don't see this. I realize that many of us may see these things but do we realize how odd we are? Western society is so individualistic that the collective pales in importance. Why would people spend hundreds of dollars on fireworks unless they had no realization of our fellow creatures on this planet? Do these folks know what they are celebrating? Are they celebrating or are they simply blowing things up? How could they light these fireworks at what is now 12:26 AM unless they refused to see beyond their own concerns? These are my ramblings tonight, however...judgmental? I suppose? Discerning? I believe so.
Humans, as a species, seem to be sliding down the evolutionary ladder because we lack almost everything that we need to ensure joy and peace and harmony and love. What must we do to "become?" The first thing is to exercise common sense. Common sense is the essential contruct of the left brain hemisphere. We must unplug our understanding from the learned doctrines. We must recognize the Beltway mentality in our own lives and in our society. We must return to the essence of our essential selves. We are being offered Morpheus' red pill 1.
