Yesterday the Supreme Court heard oral argument in a case with potential
ramifications for false confessions. The Court will have to determine whether the Constitution limits the authority
to conduct strip-searches on people entering jails. In the underlying case, a man who the government now acknowledges was
innocent was subject to two invasive searches.
