I always was a collector. I couldn't throw out a potentially usable piece of wood. I had boxes of scraps like these left over from cutting out harp necks. I have filled in some lines so you can see the piece that was cut out. The overall dimension of the piece is 24" long by 6" high and is 2" thick. I had a few larger from the bigger harps but this was the most common piece I had saved.

The Fish

This was the first piece I made from the scraps.
It measures 35" wide by 21" high. It presently hangs over the livingroom mantle.

The Endtable

This was the last piece I made from the harp scraps. It has used up about all I have left. I think there is enough for maybe one more project yet to be designed.
The table top is 29" by 17" and is 23" high

The Grandfather Clock

This was the ultimaste use of the boxes of scrap. It is made in four pieces that will come apart. The movement was a German made windup brass movement mantle/wall clock. It has a full set of Westminister Chimes that have already become a comfort sound when I wake up during the night (or during a nap in the daytime) (I really lead a tough life).
