For now, all this equipment is taking turns on a double-oval plywood tabletop layout. Certainly not
very original but it's fun nonetheless. But it's time to build a more exciting and realistic layout.
I am still in the planning stages for a new around-the-walls-style layout that includes some local prototype
features: the Alexandria, Virginia station and yards; Lake Accotink trestle; the Fairfax County countryside; and, finally,
the Manassas "Y" leading to Front Royal and Charlottesville. Tall order, eh?
