Corey's Child Care

All parents want to make sure their children are being taught and looked after by responsible adults. On this page we have the opportunity to introduce our family, your child's care givers.

Our Family

Sunshine and Corey are your learning team! We're a strong Christian family worshiping at Metro Church of Christ. We work hard and provide a safe, educational, and family environment for you and your kids while you're away for play or work. We have four awesome girls; Ryan, age 5; Emi age 12; and Kylie age 15; and Maysun age 3.

For fun, we enjoy camping, quading, spending time as a family and with friends, and sometimes a good movie.

Sunshine is a Certified Nurse's Assistant

Registered In-Home Child Care Facility through State of Oregon

Over fourteen years of combined child care experience

CPR and First-Aid certified

Training in Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect

DHS/AFS Registered

USDA training for nutritious meals and snacks

Enrolled in Oregon's Criminal Background Check Registry

Over 200 combined hours in early education training

Gresham's FIRST certified Eco-healthy Childcare through the Oregon Environmental Council!

Staff Training

We both have been through CPR and First-Aid training. Oregon State Law requires me to take at least 8 hours of ongoing early eduation training and classes every 2 years, however, both of us take classes whenever available. Combined, we have OVER 200 HOURS of early education training!
