In the biography there are rare photographs taken by newspaper and
magazine photographers showing Bayerlein working as an automechanic in the Camp King US Army's motorpool. For copyright purposes
they cannot be shown on an Internet site. They are extremely interesting however and show that Bayerlein was a 'former German
General who could get his hands dirty.'

Please Give 'Credit Where Credit is Due':
Please contact biographer, P.A. Spayd, for names of all the general officers, date,
and original captions. Although these are public domain photos, Ms. Spayd did extensive research into locating them
at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA II, College Park, Maryland.) You are free to use them with
credit to NARA II and the US Army Signal Corps. The biographer would very much appreciate credit for her work in discovering
these rare photos. (as published in the General's biography).
