How we met ...

Her Story - We both met while in school at
SMU. It was my sophomore year and his junior year at one of those
Asian Parents Dinner. I knew some of his friends and had seen him on
campus a few times but was never formally introduced. Finally, at
one of those small gatherings, we met.....and boy was I happy we
met. He was the perfect gentleman - polite, charming, and might I
say very handsome. Although at that time nothing happened, 6 months
later that year we really noticed each other. After some "planned"
run ins on campus, Kevin finally had the courage to come up to me
and re-introduce himself - and that leads us to today.......
His Story - Hazel and I met
through a mutual friend and fell in love....and the rest is history.
The Proposal...
Her Story - Well, it was supposed to be just a dinner to celebrate
our 3rd year anniversary. Kevin took me to the French Room which is
so swanky. We both ate things that we've never had before like foie
gras and truffles, but not the chocolate kind...I had this weird
feeling, since we were at this really nice restaurant. Afterward, he
had a surprise planned and took me to the Addison Airport. I never
even knew there was an airport in Addison and I've lived in Dallas
all my life! So we proceeded to jump on a prop plane...I was
terrified! But the Dallas skyline is so beautiful at night and on
the prop plane, the view was absolutely gorgeous. By that time, I
knew something was definitely up. I was getting nervous. After we
got off the plane, Kevin spoke to the pilot and then we headed
outside to the secluded parking lot, where he told me he loved me,
dropped on one knee and popped the question. Of course, I was crying
by this time...but I was very very happy!!
His Story - I took Hazel to a fancy dinner at the French Room. After
dinner, I took Hazel for a nighttime tour of downtown Dallas
in a 3 passenger Cessna. After the evening ride around Dallas, I
got down on one knee and proposed to Hazel. |
